Harbor Hill Camping Area focuses on providing excellent value through its comprehensive amenities and competitive pricing, rather than frequently advertising short-term promotional discounts. However, New Hampshire locals planning their camping trips can consider several ways to make the most of their stay or secure long-term value.
Based on typical campground practices and available information for Harbor Hill:
- Seasonal Camping Rates: A significant "offer" for many New Hampshire residents is the option for seasonal camping. Harbor Hill is a "private seasonal summer camping resort," indicating that many guests choose to stay for the entire season (typically from one week before Memorial Day Weekend to Columbus Day Weekend). Seasonal rates range from $3,900 to $4,400, depending on the site. This fee often includes winter RV storage, water, electricity, sewer, and high-speed internet (electricity metered separately). For those who love the Lakes Region and want a consistent summer base, this offers substantial long-term value compared to nightly rates.
- Tiered Nightly/Weekly Rates: The campground offers different rates based on the type of site (primitive tent, water & electric, full hookup 30/50 Amp). While not a discount, selecting a site that perfectly matches your needs can optimize your spending. For example, primitive tent sites may start around $35/night, while full hookup 50 Amp sites can be around $45/night. Weekly rates are typically discounted compared to cumulative nightly rates (e.g., a cabin tent for $255/week compared to $45/night).
- Included Amenities: Many of the fantastic amenities, such as the swimming pool, playgrounds, athletic field, recreation room, nature trails, WiFi, and clean restrooms with hot showers, are included in the camping fee. This comprehensive offering adds considerable value without requiring separate purchases for basic entertainment or comfort.
- Good Sam Discounts (Potential): As a highly-rated campground by organizations like Good Sam, it's worth inquiring if they offer any discounts for Good Sam members, though this is not explicitly stated in all public information.
- Group Bookings: For larger groups, as noted in customer reviews (e.g., "Open Road Travelers" group), it's always advisable to contact the campground directly. While not guaranteed, they may offer special arrangements or rates for booking multiple sites.

Harbor Hill Camping Area Reviews
The campground is the perfect place. How any one can say different is beyond me. The owners were very helpful with places to go. My site was unbelievable. Very clean also. We went in as a group. Ten of us ( open road travelers ) . They took care of all our needs, no hesitation. A few of us went back a few years later, because it was so great. I'm going to book for Sept. Of this year 2024. And my daughter will be with us !! Love it.
May 06, 2024 · Kathy BrightmanMy husband and I stayed here at the end of Sept for 2 nights and enjoyed every minute of our stay. We have a teardrop without a bathroom, so the quality of the bathroom facility is how I rate campsites. I was so impressed by how CLEAN and modern the bathrooms were. Seriously impressive. We arrived late (long drive from PA to NH) called the after hours number posted on the door and were quickly greeted and checked in. We will be back!
Oct 05, 2022 · Tracey DeanWe stay here every year for Bike Week. The owners and staff are always so upbeat and personable! They are always helping the guests, we were treated amazing! The bathrooms and buildings are always nice and clean. This is a place where my family will always love to go to! Thanks for an amazing time!
Jun 25, 2022 · Michael DeRienzoIf you are searching for a seasonal campground, search no more! The entire campground is seasonal; exactly what we were looking for. Everyone here, staff and campers, are very friendly. The campground is quiet, relaxing, and immaculate. It is the perfect location for a summer get-away. Meredith, and the surrounding Lakes Region, is beautiful.
Sep 30, 2023 · MichelleStayed here for 3 nights. Their email before we arrived mentioned a $5 (cash only) deposit for the gate card, so there was no hassle checking in, and my $5 was promptly returned when we returned the gate card. The office staff is very friendly. Our site was gravel and level and had LOTS of shade from the trees. The location is close to grocery stores, attractions, gas staions, etc. The bathrooms are clean and the property is managed well. The pool area is kept nice and has lots of seating and even picnic tables. The WiFi works well. If we are in the area again, we will be back.
