Happy Hills Campground Reviews
Campground was very nice. Super friendly full-timers. Site was level. Cell service was nil, but WiFi was able to back up. Not fast, but functional. Staff was super friendly and helpful all around. Store was stocked well. Great for the kids. Putt Putt was taken out a few weeks before with a storm, but the kids played anyway. Most of the time spent is at the pool which was super well kept. Overall great trip and the kids had a fantastic time.
Jun 17, 2025 · John LloydWe're new to camping, but Happy Hills was a good choice for our first time out. We were there mid-week in April, so there were not a lot of other people. We enjoyed the quiet solitude. The staff here was super nice and helpful. We went to dinner two nights at a nice little restaurant a few miles now the road( Potomac River Grill). The food was great!!We chose this campground because of it's close proximity to the Western Maryland Rail Trail. Our bike ride on the Rail Trail was just what we hoped for.I would definitely recommend this campground and plan to go back again.
Apr 20, 2025 · Dennis BassThis place is like my family. The owner, Terry, and Pam, along with their family, run the entire operation. The work hard to make the overall family experience one you will remember for a life time. I have been a seasonal camper here with my family for over 20 years. Keep up the hard work. Thanks to all.
Feb 04, 2025 · Ricky WhitmireWe have been camping here for 10 years and we love it for a multitude of reasons. I go each year during Halloween and hang out around the bonfire, listen to the DJ and talk to a lot of friends old and new up there, but this weekend I actually went through the haunted barn. I was amazed at the level of creativity and work I saw in each room I entered. I know all the blood, sweat and tears that goes into making this event a success each year, and it effects not only the staff but the volunteers as well. They put their heart into everything they do to please their customers. If you have a chance to get up there, go! It's worth the money. It's not just the haunted barn you get to enjoy, it's the music, the fun, THE PEOPLE. 🥰
Oct 28, 2024 · Staci SeibertJust left there and it was wonderful. My husband and i got to meet Terry, his daughters and Josh and they are very nice people. Very down to earth. Anything we needed or questions we had they did not hesitate to help with. They keep the grounds beautiful. We booked again before we left and cant wait to take out grandbabies. Loved it.
