Halfmoon Campground Reviews
So peaceful and quiet. Even on a 100 degree day it was nice with a cool breeze blowing through what’s left of the giant pine trees. To bad there wasn’t any water flowing in the creek. Also we saw the cows!

Sep 18, 2023 · joshua wardIt was supper fun quiet place for a weekend away from the city life. Bathrooms are clean and many trails to go on. Getting there is fun too.
Jul 22, 2020 · Marisol PereyraEnd of November, still warm, great firewood opportunities. On a half moon night! :)
Oct 28, 2017 · LittleRed reinerHalf Moon Campground is a gem. Nestled about 12 miles off Lockwood Valley near Frazier Park. There is a vault toilet but it is boarded up. There is no water available here not many people visit this place except for the hunting seasons. It's usually very quiet and limited occupancy. Good place to go and take your family to get away just need to take everything with you. I do have a four-wheel drive but I have seen smaller sedans type cars make it out there but I would be leery of recommending that. I have never needed my 4 wheel drive to get to the spot but feel safe in knowing that that I have it in case I need it.
