Gulf State Park Campground

22050 Campground Rd, Gulf Shores, AL 36542, USA

4.0
This park is wonderful. The sites are spacious and easy to access. The campground was nearly full when we were there the second week in June, but it didn't feel overcrowded. Our site was in the middle of the campground, and this gave us easy access to the pool, the lake, and the beach. The entire area is extremely well maintained and clean. The bathhouse was updated, very clean, and plenty of water pressure for a shower. We ended up adding an additional night, but we had to move sites as ours wasn't available. The campground manager allowed us to move to the new site as soon as the previous tenants left which gave us more time at the beach. The bike and walking paths and trails are beautiful, and our ride to the beach was less than 2 miles. This was our first beach trip in our camper, so the bar has been set pretty high for future trips. - Jennifer Disney
