Greenhorn Meadows Park Campsites Reviews
Stayed here at lot 26 over the Father Day weekend and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with the space. Staff is amazing too and kept the grounds clean and tidy throughout our stay. Awesome creek too! The 18 hole disc golf was the best I’ve ever played too. All around super solid campground and highly recommended.
Jun 16, 2025 · Victor “Buddy” BatchelderWe really enjoyed our two nights here. Peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Travelling with friends we were in sites 21 and 22, each with 35 ft. RV's. Dry camping. Picnic tables and large, deep fire pits. Needed to cross some water to get into park, about 8" over concrete base due to spring run off. Electric also available. Sites 16-18, 21-23, 27, 28 good for bigger rigs in our opinion.Restrooms in electric section, dump, water and garbage. Frisbee golf nearby.
May 19, 2024 · Ellen BatesFor the price this place is perfect. Most sites have plenty of shade to protect from the heat. Shower is hot. Camphost is very nice and it's just $25. Verizon 2 bars, T-Mobile 4. Unlike previous reviews I find the sites well spaced and there is a dumpster and liquid waste station.
Sep 19, 2024 · Dieter FassnachtSuch a sweet spot! Hosts so friendly and kind, absolutely beautiful spot, totally unpretentious. After the local KOA from hell, this is like a little heaven - and at half the price! Residents are friendly too, sites are spacious and pretty, and bathrooms are clean and smell faintly of bleach, which is always a good sign. I think this is my favorite place we’ve stayed on this cross-country trip. Highly recommended!
May 05, 2021 · Bonny MossGreenhorn Meadows Park camp site is the best within 1 hour drive range of great sand dunes. Most of the campsites here do not have electric, even for RV sites, let alone water supply and showers. The Greenhorn Meadows park have several sites that provides all you need. Site #2,5 provides electric, shared water supply (old fashioned pump) with other sites, and clean bathrooms with hot showers! Yah! Strong cellphone signals: 4G LTE, a big PLUS!Some notes for electric users. The power outlet is for standard RV, you will need an adapter to convert it to standard 120v wall outlet. There is an ACE hardware store within 2 miles range where you can buy it easily. There is one public big dumpster, a little far fetched, but there will be a big trash can inside bathroom too. I give this campsite 10 out of 10 points comparing all campsites here. Other sites with same conditions are booked months away to next year!
