Granite Shoals Campgrounds Reviews
ANITA IS AMAZING AND SWEET! If you are there to get a step up and save some money and mind yourself and act like a decent citizen, they have no problem with you. $100 a week for a place to lay your head and bathe IS NOT BAD! I have recommended this place since we have stayed there in 2010!
Apr 07, 2016 · P WardI strongly recommend that you pass this place by. For the price of a month or two rent here you could buy one of these fifth wheels. There's traffic at all times, and they blare the radio at the office all day and night. If you don't fit in with them (the drunken dope fiends) you will be under constant scrutiny and watched like a hawk. The manager, Anita will even make up stories and put you down; highly unprofessional. Bottom line: if you are a clean professional person that's going through tough times rent one of the various efficiency's or trailers in the area and do yourself a favor; stay away from the campgrounds.
Feb 01, 2014 · Don Ja'alo BeaubienIt's over priced and the natives here are the worst kind of unfriendly. The people here are pretentious and petty people who have a severe deficit of culture. For the life of me I cannot understand what makes them feel so special that they look down on even the nicest strangers.
May 18, 2017 · Clever MonikerIf there is a campground here with actual water, I never found it. Near heat stroke temperature led to an attempted nap under a tree in which I quickly ran out of my little bottle of Downey spray mix, and was out of water. As John Wayne said, "A man's got to know his limitations" and so does a woman.A 911 call led to a lovely experience with paramedics, then nursing and support staff at Scott and White hospital, all the way up to the point that I realized that the PA-C as well as the admissions staff did not believe my "story" of lost ID's and credit cards, means of transportation, etc., despite my hearing them tell it over and over again recounting the exact same details... "Recovering addict" (I can toe the company line when necessary), vacation beginning 35 days ago gone horribly wrong, leading to pronounced dehydration, no where to stay, no way to get there and no money...Just shy of $600 later, that was a rather expensive blood test, bed for 3 hours, sandwich and bottle of Gatorade, but it definitely beat the alternative. Thank you Lord for carrying me, and thank you to Arthur, I forget what you told me you do but I will never forget your kindness, the beautiful family that runs the little shop/cook in Granite Sholes, just down from the new little cantina/restaurant with the pink and purple sparkly sombraros right inside the door. I plan to be back next week, God willing, to set up a lease for the perfect burgundy Mitsubishi Eclipse with the black leather interior and the Cowboy hat on the dash as the first fleet vehicle for GeeksandRednecksUnite and to offer compensation for a contract with shares after the two week rental. It seems I "own" a Toyota Yaris, and have an insurance policy on said vehicle that I was denied the right to purchase due to not having $3000 to put down on an $18k car. Have we really become the "Show me the money state? I miss Texas, and yet I'm still here.
