★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We stayed at sites 19 and 20 and loved all the shade and the sound of the stream! Sites are relatively small, but we did find a spot to squeeze in our larger springbar tent so be careful if you have a large tent. We got out mountain biking, hiking, and playing on the water of the reservoir and had a great time! They did have drinking water, which was unclear on their website.
July 16 · Larry SteinhorstI already shared my experience here under a different account but was so pleased with this campground I decided it deserved another great review. We loved to scenery, the privacy of our spot, the fun trails, the accommodations... This is a very good family campground. Be aware that most of their spots are ideally for RVs and most aren't designed for tents. In our spot, I ended up doing a bit of landscaping to accommodate our larger family tent but now our spot is ready for next time too. There is much to do nearby, from baseball and volleyball fields to a beautiful river that cuts through the campground. There is fishing and swimming at a nearby lake reservoir too. The bathrooms are some of the cleanest we've experienced at any campground. You won't be disappointed with the campground.
August 27 · Shane EdwardsGreat campground. Sites are close together but dense foliage gives the illusion that they're not. Only issue was sound. People were raucous - yelling, driving loud vehicles, etc - until well after midnight.
October 18 · Tyler AbbottWe have done group camps two years and always enjoy being able to get away from everything. No cell reception so you have to make sure people know where it is so they don’t get lost on the way up (which always seems to happen with a few people). We have stayed at the site Stone Mason both times and its big enough to accomodate large groups. We like how you can camp so we always stay. There is a hiking trail right in front of the assigned parking lot for the site so you can always go do a hike if you want to. The only reason I’m giving it a four star is because the bathrooms smelled quite awful were a bit dirty and there is no garbage collection which is always a problem since most people think its a given that they don’t need to take their garbage with them when they leave and the ones who do stay the night are stuck trying to figure out a way to take it and sometimes that’s hard since you are already packing a lot for the camp out so I wish you could just clean the area and have the garbage collected as part of the service. We payed $300 for the site so it seems like something as basic as garbage collection would be provided but nonetheless we always enjoy the time we spend here with friends and family and will always consider this spot as an option since we do this gathering annually.
August 05 · Roxana OrtizCamp grounds are really nice, no complaints. Firewood is obviously gonna be overpriced, so bring your own. Place is swarming with mosquitoes due to stagnant water that’s standing around the campgrounds likely from excessive runoff this year. They should close the flooded campgrounds, but otherwise, very nice.
