Goodnight's Lonesome Dove RV Campground & Cabins Reviews
Great for dogs, huge open area. Beautiful views, only downside was the bathrooms, showers were fairly clean, but the women's shower never warmed up and the sink water wasn't very clean. Men's shower seemed to work fine for my husband. The hot tub was extremely hot, be careful. Overall, great place, perfect for dogs, though not fenced in, huge space and they were allowed off leash. Kids loved it, plenty of space.
Oct 25, 2016 · Kirsten MauAbsolutely beautiful!! The cabins are warm and inviting. We have felt at home here since we arrived and the staff are amazing as well as very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. They know what there is to do and the best places to eat. Everyone is so nice and everybody watches out for each other, especially the kids. You can truley relax and I felt so comfortable letting my kids run around and play. This has become my families home away from home. Love this place!!!
Jun 26, 2017 · Nichole OellrichWe stayed at a cabin in Feb and it was a great experience. Great location about 15 mins from wolf creek skiing. Cabins are really clean and fully stocked with everything you need. Liz is awesome and they have a hot tub, free pool table, and a little store for things you may need. Be aware it is a little outside of the main area of south fork so if you need supplies, get them on the way - but being outside of the main area makes it a more authentic cabin experience :)really an amazing deal, I could easily see charging twice the price!
Feb 12, 2013 · Paul TangerWonderful campground. We rented the group camping site and it was perfect. Plenty of privacy, space, and flat areas to set up camp. Cute garden and tavern opening soon. Very close to the lake and waterfalls. Definitely look forward to staying again sometime. I highly recommend especially to folks who are wanting to camp with a couple friends/ family.
Aug 08, 2022 · Claudette Balliet GallierI tried repeatedly, calling from Dec through Feb to this place to stay again this year for 4 months in my RV. I even left messages. No one returned my calls. Then in Feb I got a call that said they were all booked up and I couldn't stay there for that long of a duration. As far as the cabins go.........my friends stayed in one last year around the corner from the registration desk and we had to clean it before they could use it. The bathroom and kit were filthy with hair, etc. The bed was actually falling through the floor on one of it's legs. The oven didn't work. We washed our clothes in the laundry mat they have there and they smelled so bad that we had to take them to town and wash them again. I'm glad they were full and we weren't able to stay.UpdatedExcuse me!!!! I was there last year. We did tell the staff how the ovens didn't work and how dirty they were. And apparently the bed that's falling through the floor hasn't been fixed according to another post I c. No one even came to fix the oven or clean the cabins the whole week we were there. I hear u replaced all the washers and dryers. Maybe because they were moldy? I wouldn't recommend this place if u paid me to stay there. And, I called for three months, different times of the day. and no one ever answered the phone. It took u 2weeks to call me back in Feb only to tell me u were full. I watched your park so far this year. Ur still not full and I wanted to stay for 6 months. I hear there are new managers there, maybe they will do better.
