Glacier Elkhorn Cabins and Campground Reviews
The accommodations were basic (as expected) but comfortable, the beds were comfy which is important, facilities seemed to be good, hot, clean shower which was really nice after a day of travel. Four stars for that, and it being in a very convenient location.Unfortunately, the service was horrible, which wrecked the entire experience. I don't know if it was someone else who was covering that day, that may explain why the other reviews here are either amazing or terrible, but I've never had a more rude, and downright petty staff person in all my travels. I've never before given a bad review to a place I've stayed, but this time it was warranted. Will not be returning, which is too bad, since we really liked the place.
Apr 26, 2025 · A BLovely campground! Clean bathrooms and it was amazing sleeping next to the river. The folks running the campground were very kind (as were the campground cats). We enjoyed camping here and would recommend!
Jun 20, 2025 · EmilyNice quiet campground. Although not set up for an rv, they accommodated us. We were self contained, but we found the bathrooms and shower clean and nice. The deck was a nice gathering place to socialize with the other campers who more often than not were hikers who shared their experiences and ratings for the trails at Glacier. As we are more comfortable with this type of campground vs an rv park, we were very pleased. It was convenient and the hosts were very nice.
Sep 14, 2023 · Tom McCaffreyThe owners were super nice and fun to chat with! I talked with them on the phone and they were great about explaining everything and made the check-in process very easy as I arrived late. I stayed in the campground and, despite the sites being close to each other, there was still privacy between them. If you're camping, the showers are $10 just so you know. I believe that people staying in the cabins get to use them for free. And there is wifi (which I needed because T-Mobile doesn't have service there) and that is $5 for the length of your stay. The bathrooms are good but they did not have hot water when I was there. You're about 5-10 minutes from two entrances to Glacier so you really can't go wrong for the price here. I would definitely stay here again!
Oct 06, 2022 · Eric MelendezWe had a snafu with our reservation at Many Glacier and I'm glad we did. Nice little campground with caring owners, very pet friendly. Great location, we were able to get settled in the morning and back to Many to enjoy a hike to Iceberg lake. Campsites are private, small basic cabins on the river looked comfortable.
