Gatewood Park Campground Reviews
One of our favorite campgrounds. Very quiet, peaceful and beautiful. Perfect place to fish and relax.
Feb 18, 2025 · Krista PBeautiful, quiet area with fantastically clean bathhouse and facilities and the nicest people. Busy, but not loud or overly crowded for a nice place to set up camp whether you're in an RV or a tent.
Jun 23, 2024 · Jennifer MonroeWe enjoyed our camping experience. We came at an absolutely beautiful time of year, the weather was amazing! Definitely a peaceful campground.
Oct 24, 2024 · Miki WilhelmThe scenery is absolutely beautiful. Always peaceful and relaxing! Nice local get away. Only improvement would be a better system implemented if you need to exit the campground between certain hours, as they have recently starting locking the gate at night. Need to have a gate that would allow guests to punch a code, instead of dealing with a key to keep up with and having to unlock/ lock the gate. If you don’t acquire a key at check in and should you have an emergency, then this could be a problem. The only way to get a key is to give a credit card number. If you don’t turn in key, it’s a $50 charge. Everyone should have a way to get out if necessary, without the hassle.
Oct 17, 2022 · SHANNON AKERSSpent three nights here and it was beautiful! So peaceful and serene. Camp host, Michael was as nice as could be and even offered to pick things up for us in town if we needed anything. Will definitely be returning!
