Gatewood Park Reviews
Very nice campground. Place reservations through Bartow County. It's kind of tricky... you have to add each day individually to the purchase cart. Many of the campsites are very short and would work for a popup camper. Many of the campsites are far from. The bath house. Many campsites have waterviews.
Jun 03, 2025 · Laura KempskiAbsolutely great! I stayed for 2 weeks and this was a great place to be. Fishing is awesome, staff is on top of everything and super friendly/accommodating, quiet, low bugs and ants. I would give more stars if possible.Full time camper here and I'm more than impressed.
May 18, 2025 · Chuck WestbrookI rented a wonderful lakeside spot for 4 nights. The firepot was FULL OF SMOLDERING GARBAGE when we got there at 7:30, no one to clean it out, so I did the next morning. Away all afternoon, got back at 6pm, AGAIN FULL OF BURNING GARBAGE!! Neighbor campers said teen boys partied all afternoon and left the burning garbage. Front lady again said no one to clean it up!! CANT THEY KEEP KIDS FROM SCREWING UP THE CAMPSITES??
May 29, 2024 · Lance GreenNice campground. However, the spot we had was not laid out for our size trailer. The drop-offs from the cement pads are high so be careful not to get too close to the edge
May 28, 2025 · Kendra StappHas potential. Unfortunately the campground hosts were the ones to hurt the experience. One of them kept driving around at night trying to start trouble with us! He was obviously drunk, saying how he ran this place! He drove through as late as midnight on the loud John Deere UTV. Other personnel were just sleeping on the job. Meanwhile the place was covered in trash and the bathrooms were in quite disrepair. We picked up at least 50 pieces of trash at the playground alone. Great location on the lake but trashy guests and employees. Quite a shame.
