Frog Creek Campground Reviews
I am reviewing low because there was a day the owner/ manager tried to bombard me and accuse me of not picking up after my dog. She asked to see my baggies which I zip tie to his leash to make sure I always have them on hand. She then said one of her staff had seen me not pick up after him and I tried explaining that the only time they could have seen me was at night when I didn’t have a light to see where he went so I went back to my RV to grab my phone and a light, but went back to pick it up. She continued accusing me of it happening multiple times and that I have a distinguishable dog and that she’s going to listen to her staff over me. It was just so disrespectful and humiliating. Also, there were several other shelties on the property that weekend.I enjoyed the campground and its amenities but that memory sours my several month stay at the park.
Jun 29, 2025 · Shawna ClarkI am a travel RN from Florida, came down here to work for 13 weeks. I cant not begin to express enough how wonderful, kind, and welcoming the staff at Frog Creek are. Everyone we have encountered here has been beyond helpful. They even offered to let us move campsites to a shady spot since we were going to be down here for an extended time during summer months. To say they are accommodating is an understatement, they have gone above and beyond to help us and make us comfortable during our time here. So much so I hope to be able to extend my job here to stay longer. One of the best campgrounds I've found in this area and on top of everything they are VERY affordable compared to other campsites in the area.
Jun 24, 2024 · Ashley BannisterWe paid a $50 deposit towards a five night stay starting October 10, 2024 to attend an RV rally. Hurricane Milton was headed to hit the Bradenton area so the organizers cancelled the rally. We called Frog Creek to cancel our reservation and requested a refund to our credit card; but we were informed that our deposit was nonrefundable but we could have a future credit. My husband who is 82 explained that we probably will be selling our RV before the next rally and again requested a refund but told NO once again. Mother Nature caused the rally to be cancelled and we feel our deposit should have been refunded. Thus the One Star rating
Oct 11, 2024 · Jeannine SimoneOur third or fourth stay. Always very friendly people and the campsites are great.
May 25, 2025 · Cameron AnholtWon't return your deposit. No see- um mosquitoes we're terrible at evening! River may have a lot to do with it. No working with the property manager. No personality. Rent continues to climb! Can understand keeping my $250 deposit for holding spot for following year, but, the additional $1,100.00 could of been returned after them only having it about a week! I think office Debbie is pocketing the money. Won't let us talk to the owner.
