French Creek Campground Reviews
Great spot, lightly used. 11 spots set in the middle of an Aspen Grove with French Creek running by on the outskirts. Spots were well situated to created more privacy. There are free-range cows in the area, and someone left the gate open, so we had cows camping with is the first night.
Aug 09, 2020 · JillWe loved our time at French Creek campground. Superb location (close to Mickelson trail) and a very private tent site! We were the only ones there until midnight when another car pulled in and set up a tent. The camp site is close to dining and grocery stories. We enjoyed our time at French Creek.

Aug 11, 2023 · Matthew WhiteLoved it! We arrived 6/16/17 around 4pm to find the entire campground to ourselves. Picked #2 right next to the river, however there are several other nice campsites as well. The sound of the river is calming leading to a great night's sleep. Only downside is that you definitely need to pay attention when driving there. It's easy to get lost as you take in the beauty of the area. Keep an eye on your odometer. Other thing is that the FS should bring in a weed eater to cut down the grass in the campsites. It's a bit overgrown and could use a little TLC. Will surely be back!
Jul 05, 2017 · Todd CarpenterForest Service Campground generally not as well maintained as BLM Campground grounds and this is no exception. But is acceptable and rarely crowded.
