Fredrock Glampground Reviews
We only had a quick overnight stay in the middle of our road trip but this place was amazing! We loved getting to swim in the refreshing creek after a long driving day with our dog and 18 month old. The grounds were beautiful and my daughter loved seeing all the bunnies hoping around. Staff were very nice and the bathrooms were great. We would definitely come back!
Jun 26, 2025 · Ashleigh TelmanI had the most awesome camping experience at this wonderful Campground. I stayed in tent site #3. It has a really cool chandelier in the tree and it is directly across the gravel road to a stream that leads into the 12 Mile Creek. The camp hosts were over the top amazing! They treat you as though you are a member of the family or BFF. Tonya and her husband are great. She had some adorable young visitors and they were very polite and sweet young ladies. It was a delight to meet them.I can't wait for my next camp trip. I want to invite more people this time and get tent site #1 which was really big and under a tree canopy (this is summer 6/19) or tent site #2 which was very remote and felt like you were in the middle of nowhere.Anyway they're all great and so are the hosts. If I was going to make a campground it would be just like this. The themed stays are amazing too I just haven't stayed there so I can't review. But check them out
Jun 20, 2025 · Shannon RWe tent camped at one of the primitive sites, and it was a truly beautiful experience—shady, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. The waterway, 12 Mile Creek, is a hidden gem with some of the best gravel bars around. Being a private campground with limited availability, it offers just the right number of campers—no noisy or out-of-control crowds.I will mention that you will hear some road noise due to being close to US-67. I was in a tent so that makes it a little more apparent. This did not keep me awake but something to be aware of and completely out of the control of the owners. We brought our 1970 Jeepster Commando. It fit right in with this place and made the camp stay even more of an outdoor experience. No this is not an off road place but it was nice to put around on the gravel trails. There are plenty of trails to explore and an abundance of natural beauty to enjoy. The owners are incredibly personable and kind. They met me at my site and took the time to walk me through the trails and amenities. You can tell they take great pride in maintaining this place. In addition to the primitive campsites, they offer several iconic and unique lodging options, including Tee-Pees. The prices are very reasonable, and overall, the experience was an incredible value. I can’t wait to go back! The scale only goes to 5 but they deserve a 6. I am hooked...
Jun 30, 2025 · Mark VilbertWe had our own RV but it was nice that there were only five spots for hookups. Each hookup had its own fire pit and barbecue stand. For those who like to camp there were some really nice spots down close to the creek. We enjoyed the creek and the access to it. They have unique rentals from buses to teepees and small campers. If you rent any of those they come with a hot tub. The only down at first was that we could hear the traffic from the highway, but I found it like white noise at night and fell asleep to it. Planning on coming back again. Camp Host was very helpful and nice
Jun 05, 2025 · Nancy GravesPrivate little getaway place. We stayed in the tipsy gypsy wagon, and it was very charming. We were just down from the creek and had an enjoyable time walking the paths, looking for rocks, and spending time in the water. The property is beautiful and well maintained. We will definitely consider another trip to Fredrock.
