Fox Den Acres Campgrounds Reviews
I had a great experience at Fox Den on my first stay. Good location. Flexible and accommodating staff. Quite clean campground. Pretty lake to fish. Pool to swim. The grounds are pleasant to walk around. Good value for the expense.
May 17, 2025 · Matthew GiordanoPros: Grounds were clean. Large gravel pull-thru spaces. Staff was friendly. Pool looked nice but we didn’t use. They have a Veteran’s Memorial site in honor of our fallen. Location was convenient to Route 76 and food stores.Cons: No fire rings at individual sites. Water was very rusty. It actually stained white water hose which is now orange bc of a drip. Second faucet at site had bad threads and also leaked the entire week. Ground under faucet was orange from rust. Had to throw away new water filter.
Jun 17, 2025 · Joan DicksonThe minute I had my tent set up and a campfire going, I fell in love with the spot I was on!!! I won't go anywhere else.Office personnel and other campers were sooo friendly and helpful. The view, oh my goodness.
Jun 06, 2025 · Mamie ArmsWas turned away for a reservation with no valid reason. I attempted to book a campsite for a week or season and called and went several times before anyone called me back. Steve, who I presume is the owner called me after 3-4 weeks and emailed me rude and nasty comments and essentially told me that he could not accommodate any of the dates I gave him, and does not think we would be a good fit? This is not how any new customer or potential customer would want to feel and his efforts and comments essentially steered me away which I assume was his goal. Beautiful grounds but if you take priority over your existing customers and turn people away for NO reason it makes you wander if you really even want to visit or stay. This owner did not use any of my professional services and my job has nothing to do with me wanting to camp and threatening ones livelihood is the lowest things any fellow business owner can do!
