Fort Worden State Park Forest Campground Reviews
Loved our stay so much we added extra days. Campgrounds are clean and well managed. Bathrooms and showers are clean. Perfect place for walkers or bicycles. Also stayed down by the beach, it was a little colder and windy but still very nice.
May 20, 2025 · Carl O'NeilVery cool place good amount of campgrounds. It's a campground mostly for RVs... Campsite are very flat and lack shade. Bathrooms are some of the cleanest I've seen. The old bunkers can be very cool for all ages in my opinion. Can be a lot of traffic coming and going with the day use right next to the campsite.
May 11, 2024 · Tazz1775Great place for RV camping (full hookups). So many things to do within walking distance. Hiking. Fishing. Museum. Historic buildings. We had a blast. Bathrooms/showers are clean. The campsites don't really have a view but they're all otherwise well located surrounded by nature and historical fort so be prepared for, the highlight for us, long hikes with AMAZING views! Some sites are private and some are less so. Great place for kids and bicycles as well.
Sep 07, 2022 · J LoThis is one of three RV and tent campgrounds in the Fort Worden state park. The rental houses are NOT in or part of the campground. There are five rows of campsites and all have water and power. There's a 12 unit restroom / shower house for all campers. There's a septic pump station at the entrance to this campground. Trash and recycling stations are adjacent to the restrooms. If you found this review to be helpful please consider adding a thumbs-up.👍
