★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We stayed here for a few days for the 2024 eclipse. It was a really nice experience. The campground is tucked away in the forest and is also very close to attractions in the area. Jackie and Nathan and their family were great. They have a full scale farm and our kids loved going to pet and feed the animals. I would certainly recommend Ft. Brown to any outdoors/hiking/camping type.
April 10 · Joel GuerraWhat a great spot! We stayed here for the eclipse and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Jackie and her family are so kind and thoughtful, it's a great location (Garden of the Gods is about a 20 minute drive), the campground is lovely, and on-site chickens are the best food disposal method I've ever seen at a camp area. We'd definitely stay again.
April 09 · Kathy MartinolichMy girlfriend and I stayed here for the eclipse, which was amazing, and I couldn't be happier with our experience. The owners went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience and were so friendly. Even came out to help us break down camp before a storm hit cuz we overslept haha. 5 stars, we will be returning for sure.
April 11 · Michael MunleySuch a beautiful place, peaceful and quiet. We had a wonderful stay over Labor Day weekend. Our hosts met us in the evening as we arrived and led us to the camping area. They were very pleasant and kind, and went out of their way to make sure we had anything we needed and checked on us throughout he weekend. They even brought us some fresh produce and eggs from their farm! We highly recommend this spot (we hate to give away "our little secret") if you want to relax, enjoy the peaceful surroundings, and just unplug.Thank you to the Browns.
September 10 · Cheryl LockhartThis is a hidden gem! Very nice and family owned! I will always choose this place to camp at.
