Fogle Lake Park Campground Reviews
As part of our Iowa staycation tour the wife picked this park. Glad she did. It was raining and windy, but we were going to walk the grounds and I grabbed my rod just cause. Glad I did...crappies were bitinf. We also caught some big blue gill, bass, and even landed a small walleye. We plan on returning with our small pond boat. I am hoping it is not to weedy late in the year. It appears they are working the camping grounds and there are a few easy to navigate pathways. Nice for young families and quiet.
May 04, 2021 · Marty HoganEnjoyed our stay. The fishing was good.
Jul 17, 2020 · kerri paceCould be a real gem with a little work. Very nice for a small town. Wish I could give it a five! Great newer modern restroom/shower house, does need cleaned. Narrow sites that share 30 amp pedestals and fire pits. Water is available. A good price of $16 per night with pretty views of the lake. A lot of trash throughout the park and fire pits were full of ash and trash, the camping area needed mowed. Boat fishing is good but shore fishing access is minimal and very weedy on and off the shore. Good play areas for kids and common areas but like the rest of the park it could use better maintenance.
Oct 12, 2022 · Faith AnnClean campground, the fishing spots could be mowed or weed wicked a little better. Ticks were out crazy..But overall good experience.
Jul 16, 2023 · TristanI've only been there to fish, but once I actually camp, it might earn the 5th star. Wonderful lake however.
