Flint & Flowers Reviews
Our stay at Flint & Flowers was truly magical! The tent was clean and spacious, beautifully designed and well appointed. I was worried that it might be hot, but the A/C cooled the tent down beautifully. The hot/cold plunge pools were a huge hit! I also loved the outdoor shower and the deck.Overall it was a wonderful stay that felt luxurious but still connected to nature. We will definitely be back!
May 28, 2025 · Katy BytherI was able to spend two nights at this amazing campground and fell in love with the space. The tent was cozy and warm with the heater and had every thing I needed. The grounds are left in a natural state and enjoyed the grill and fire pit. I can't wait to come back when it is warmer and can relax in the hot tub. Great job you earned all 5 stars!
Mar 05, 2025 · Timothy SmithI hosted a day long wellness retreat at Flint & Flowers and we could not have been more pleased with our rooms, the event space, the host, Melinda, and her wonderful colleagues! The space itself is in a lovely, private setting in beautiful hill country, near Pedernales Falls State Park. The space was clean, well accommodated and stylistically gorgeous. Everyone that attended LOVED everything - the glamping tents, the event space and the surrounding property. We loved the fact that you could roll up or down the tent windows which enabled us to achieve the indoor/outdoor feel we wanted for our wellness event.Melinda, the host, is a gem of a human. She was communicative, supportive and a true pleasure to work with- she helped ensure our vision became a reality. You can tell she truly cares about her property and giving guests the best experience they can possibly have. I HIGHLY recommend this space and will 100% be booking again for a weekend getaway for me, and for our future wellness retreats! Thank you, Melinda and staff!
Apr 16, 2025 · Kat LObsessed!! Flint and Flowers Glamping is pure magic—I’ve already been twice in just two months! I first went with my 7-year-old for her birthday and returned with my husband to celebrate NYE. The owner is the sweetest, super responsive, and you can tell this place was created with so much heart. Every detail is thoughtfully curated, from the Yeti dog bowl for your pup to the stunning handmade decor (the faux donkey by the door is my absolute FAVE—I need one!). And the luxury touches? Incredible. The bed is the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on outside of my own home. It’s the perfect blend of rustic charm and boutique luxury—I’ll absolutely be back!! Soon!
Jan 11, 2025 · Gertie WilsonThe tent was very nice and the decor is great. We travel a lot and our 9 and 12 yr old kids loved the place. The only minor criticisms we had was that the water never got hot. The bath tub is gorgeous and my daughter was so excited to use it but the water at best was luke warm. That also made the outdoor shower unusable since it was in the low 60s, upper 50s. The cooling/heating unit is nice but it was pretty noisy at night and kept a few family members up so we turned it off which lead to a pretty chilly morning. However, the blankets and throws were great and easily kept us warm. The ice machine was also kind of noisy while we slept but well worth the pellet ice. One side note, when cleaning the dishes before we left, we couldn’t find a sponge. Not a big deal, but mixed with the luke warm water I didn’t feel like I was truly able to clean the dishes. Overall, we would definitely come back and stay. The check in and out process was wonderful and we were pleasantly surprised that check in was noon instead of 4 like other places. One add I would suggest is a propane powered fire pit on the patio since no wood fires are allowed on the property. It would allow guests to use the outdoors space even when it is cold in the evening and pose no hazard.
