Fisherman's Landing Inc Reviews
We stayed at Fisherman’s landing for Memorial Day weekend Thursday-Monday. We had a late check in and arrived after midnight. Our envelope was in a box at the front office that gave us a map of the campground and all the codes we needed to get into the bathhouse and the walking gate and was a super easy process. There is a bike trail that will take you to downtown Muskegon that has lots of shopping, coffee shops, restaurants, a large farmers market and breweries. Clean restrooms, nice fire pits, the green grass was manicured very nicely and was super soft to put my feet in! My only recommendation would be to have a little store at the office with common items people forget while camping and fire wood. I did find it odd that they didn’t sell bundled fire wood. We had a wonderful weekend and really enjoyed our stay! I would recommend this campsite to anyone and I think it’s one we would want to come back to.
May 26, 2025 · Michael BartaWe attempted to stay, made a reservation, we went to our site and for our trailer it was to uneven We went into the office and asked for a different site and they advise they do not change sites just because we did not like the site. We advised them the site was too small, not level and the water hook up was not available to us if we backed in. The staff was very rude and unhelpful. We will never go back! Campground was not full and problem solved just to change our site.
Jun 21, 2025 · Lizabeth WillardWonderful campground with easy access to Lake Muskegon! Gated campground, felt very safe and family-friendly. We had very pleasant interactions with the staff, very helpful people! They were not selling firewood but they did have ice for sale at the office which was very useful! The campsites & fire pits are fairly close to each other but that’s not the end of the world. We had a spot with a concrete slab with a picnic table, wonderful spot to get set up/eat food or grill out. Great playground for children and a few different patio swings that look over the lake. The landscaping was beautiful but we wish they would fix up their beach area, could make for a nice spot to lay out or have kids play in the sand! Overall we absolutely loved this campground and will be booking more spots for the future!!

May 14, 2025 · MariaThis is my second time camping here. Once in 2018 and again in 2024. They have really cleaned the park up and it looks amazing. I appreciate the feeling of being safe due to the gated property. It was VERY quiet. I grew up across the street from PJHoffmaster park and it was always so loud. I'm able to stay throughout the week and go to work in the morning feeling well rested because it is so quiet and safe. The bathrooms are immaculate and the grass is very soft and green. I see in the reviews that some people think they can just come here and do whatever they want. The rules are only disliked by people that break them. I am very pleased with my stay here and look forward to coming back. Thank you very much for making my camping experience so great!! I hope to be back soon.
