Accessing Findley Campground is quite manageable, even for those without specialized off-road vehicles. While the route involves a "dirt/gravel road," visitors consistently describe it as "flat," meaning "you do not need a 4x4 vehicle to get to the campground." Findley Campground Reviews
Small campground, some sites like 2 and 3 are really close together but most are very spaced out. Flush toilets and water available. All sites had a bear box, fire pit/grill, and picnic table. Most do not have a big flat tent spot. We stay at site 10 (which on the map was actually site 11, it was not accurate) and it had one small tent spot but would not have fit a big tent if you have a big family. Otherwise, very quiet and we had a great time. Would definitely be back. No close / easy lake access but good access to 4x4 trails to a ton of cool lakes like Faucherie. You do not need a 4x4 vehicle to get to the campground, there is a dirt/gravel road but it is flat.
Jul 11, 2022 · Ilene WGood campground for the most part. No service. If you don't have a 4x4 or a vehicle that you can take off-road, take highway 89. Also, avoid site 06.
Jul 15, 2024 · Tamim AminiYou literally can't get to this campground unless you have an off-road vehicle. The only road to get there is impassable otherwise. Really wish they had bothered to mention this minor detail somewhere, ANYWHERE when we booked. Drove all the way from the Bay Area only to have to drive all the way back. Our camping weekend could not have been more of a wash.
Jul 19, 2015 · H GrimesThe directions from recreation.gov were a little dicey.. But once we got on track, it was a good time.
Sep 08, 2019 · Steve FGreat place! Water level was super low tho.
