★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This is a great place to relax with good hiking and Forrest Roads to explore. Usually very quite with plenty of good camp spots. Elevation is high so expect occasional storms and follow bear protocol for sure. Louis Lake is just down the road and you can hike up to Christina Lake for good fishing too.
June 08 · Colorado HikerFit a 34.5 foot trailer in one of the pull through spots. Was a windy road up there. Lake is pretty small and has a lot of Lilly pad growth so I recommend fishing lures and not trying to bottom fish. We went after season so camping was free and there weren't many people. No powered boats allowed. No Verizon signal. Quick climb to a hilltop for at&t signal.
September 22 · V0haygatronNature perfection. Great site, hosts and peaceful and quiet. Loved our stay. Love that there is no cell service.
July 31 · Deanna FarrarThis place is gorgeous. Fabulous hiking is right at your doorstep. Max the host is extremely helpful - he goes way beyond the typical host responsibilities to take good care of camper needs and he's great to talk to. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.
September 13 · William CreightonIt gets a 4 star simply because of where it is never stayed there myself. It's great trout fishing and beautiful country. It does fish better from a boat than off of the shore however. But if you go there and you do take a boat remember that using motors on you boat in this lake is prohibited.
