Ferncrest Campground Reviews
We loved our stay at Ferncrest! It was the perfect weekend getaway and we were so pleased with our accommodations, the grounds, and the quality of the service. There were heavy rains the one morning, but we stayed perfectly dry and warm in our little tent with the fireplace! It was so relaxing. We also loved the new bathhouse and how nice it was. We wish we were maybe a little farther away from our neighbors with a little more privacy since we were there to celebrate our anniversary. We also wish that maybe our room had come with at least one complimentary load of firewood included in the cost of the stay since we weren’t able to get it from outside and since the room did come with its own stove. But overall we really loved the peace of the grounds and getting coffee and ice cream and souvenirs at the adorable little shops. Oh, and we really enjoyed the sauna! So relaxing. We can’t wait to come again!
Jun 09, 2025 · Abigail ShaefferThis is our second time staying at ferncrest. The dome tents are very nice, whether your staying during the colder months or the summer you have the option of using the ac, heater or wood burning stove. They also have wood burning hot tubs and a sauna which are a great addition. On the weekends they serve coffee and bagels out of one of their trailers and the store is always well stocked with essentials. Overall a great place to stay for your Pocono getaway !
Jun 10, 2025 · Nicholas LucenteBubble tent for the win! We rented a 2 -bed tent with one of the cute cedar hot tubs; it was even cuter than we expected!! Very clean, cozy beds, and appreciated the cooler & fridge that was provided! We had gorgeous cool weather so we didn't really need the air conditioning or wood burning stove, but love that those are there if needed as we will definitely go back. The hot tub took about 4 hours for us to get it truly heated, but it was a hit for the kids and worth it…we played games and made s’mores while stoking the fire. Highly recommend!
Apr 26, 2025 · missie jurickWe really enjoyed our stay here! Everything you need is there, it is glamping at its prime. The dome was very comfortable with a heater, A/C, nice sheets, lanterns, fridge, and microwave. We enjoyed the facilities such as the campfire at our site and even the sauna was great! The only thing we couldn’t quite figure out was the wood fired hot tub but I think it just takes a long time to heat up if you don’t know how to use it so start early. It started raining at night and the rain drops on the dome sound lovely. Highly recommend this place!
Apr 27, 2025 · AnaWonderful location right outside of Tulsa for a family getaway! The campground is very kid-friendly. The tents are air-conditioned and the fireplaces are great for dinner. They even have a grill if you need it!We spent hours playing in the clear, cool water. It was a childhood dream! Definitely bring your floaties! The location is great - you feel secluded while still being very close to everything. However, the tent domes are not sound proof, and the downside of being close to everything is that you can hear every car and truck at night driving on the highway. The service is unmatched - they go above and beyond to take care of you and help provide everything you need. We even had a snaffu one night with our tent, and they were there immediately, in the pouring rain, to help us.
