Promotions or Special Offers
While Faraway Camp is a boutique glamping experience and may not offer frequent, broadly advertised "promotions" in the traditional sense, they do structure their pricing to provide value and may have seasonal deals or discounts for longer stays. As a smaller, specialized lodging option, availability can be limited, so booking in advance is highly recommended.
It's always best practice for Virginia residents interested in booking to directly check their official website or contact them by phone for the most current pricing, availability, and any potential offers. However, typical approaches to savings might include:
- Off-Peak Season Rates: Rates for glamping domes are often lower during the less busy seasons (e.g., late fall, winter, early spring, excluding holidays) compared to peak summer or fall foliage periods.
- Midweek Discounts: Booking your stay from Sunday through Thursday can frequently result in lower nightly rates compared to Friday and Saturday nights. This is a common strategy for many unique accommodations.
- Extended Stay Savings: While not explicitly stated as "promotions," booking for multiple nights (e.g., 3-night or weekly stays) may sometimes be priced at a lower average nightly rate than single-night bookings, if available.
- Direct Booking Benefits: Sometimes, booking directly through Faraway Camp's website or phone line can offer slightly better rates or more flexible terms compared to third-party booking platforms, as it bypasses commission fees.
- Seasonal Packages: While not a standing offer, unique properties like Faraway Camp may occasionally offer special packages around holidays (e.g., Valentine's Day, New Year's) or for specific seasonal events (e.g., a "Wine Trail Weekend" package if partnered with local wineries). It is advisable to check their social media channels or sign up for their newsletter (if available) for such announcements.
Guests should always review the specific terms and conditions for their booking, including cancellation policies, as these can vary. Given the high demand for unique glamping experiences, securing your preferred dates well in advance is often the best strategy, regardless of promotional offers.

Faraway Camp Reviews
Faraway camp was an awesome experience for us. We will definitely be back, and bring friends with us! The hosts are super responsive and even during some severe inclement weather conditions responded very quickly with advice. Great place, beautiful scenery, worth your time.
Jun 02, 2025 · Elizabeth FaulknerAs a first-time glamper, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience than Faraway! The dome we stayed in was spotless and thoughtfully equipped with everything you'd expect from a hotel—air conditioning, heating, a kitchenette, and even dog bowls for our furry child. The location was perfect, just a short drive from several wineries and Shenandoah National Park. One of the highlights was having access to grills and flat tops, which came in handy when we brought our own cooler and cooked up some delicious steaks while taking in the breathtaking views. I’m already looking forward to my next stay!
Feb 23, 2025 · Nicole LewisGlamping at its finest. Stunning views, we made it just it time to enjoy the sunset on our first night, very clean, super comfy memory foam bed and the heating pads was an excellent addition to creature comforts. The kitchen and bathroom were super cute (who doesn’t like a hot shower?), kitchen was well equipped and even had some basic spices/seasoning available. Highly recommend for a romantic getaway!
Mar 16, 2025 · Mareena SantamariaWe had a wonderful long weekend. I wanted relaxation and quiet and my husband wanted to see the night sky. We both got what we wanted.Plenty of places to eat and things to do close by. We want to go back in autumn.
Feb 23, 2025 · Danielle Hestand McNeelyWhen the geodomes flashed across my Instagram feed, they seemed too good to be true. The perfect combination of camping/nature with luxury/rest? Impossible! However, I'm happy to report that it was BETTER than I could've imagined. I surprised my husband with the trip, which meant that, when we arrived in the dark with a cold, drizzling rain, he had no idea what he was in for. When we stepped into the dome, we were immediately cozy and dry. We turned on our little electric fireplace, poured a glass of wine, and settled in to watch a movie on our computer (using the robust wifi). While we had intended to hike more, we ended up staying in the dome for much of our visit, watching the sunset, playing games, sipping coffee, enjoying meals cooked on the grill/griddle, reading books, and just taking in the amazing views. We cannot WAIT to go back!
