Jan 12, 2025 · Susan EnglishWe stayed while attending the Bowhunter’s Festival. The 12 mile drive was worth it! The owners made us feel like we were with friends. Saturday night they had a bonfire for all who were camping, including the makings for s’mores! The bathrooms were clean and the shower was amazing! Will definitely go back next year.

Oct 25, 2023 · John BarbosaIf you are looking for somewhere to get away, this is it. No cell service, but you can get wifi at the general store on the property. The facilities are among some of the cleanest I have ever encountered. I was not very comfortable being a solo camper; however, the owners were so very helpful. They were aware I was solo hiking/camping; therefore, would make sure every morning to inquire what my plans "might" be so that in the even if I did not return, someone was aware. They gave great recommendations for local attractions & even some off the beaten path interests of mine. There is a level of customer service here that makes you feel great. For those of you that want left alone, and only want to deal with RV campgrounds (these spots are limited EVERYWHERE) maybe somewhere bigger & more commercial is for you. For those of you that like tent/vehicle camping, nature, stars, waterfalls, vistas, & hiking...this is for you.
