Fall Creek Recreation Site

Placerville, CO 81430, USA

4.0
Great spot for overnight camping right off of CO145.There are 4 spots for cars spread out within the site. Signs say maximum camping stay is 14 days. There is nice covered picnic table with a simple charcoal grill in the middle of the clearing. The site is beautiful, located right across the street from the creek, and has good views of some of the neighboring mountain to the NW. Minimal light pollution, so you can see a lot of stars as long as the moon is not too bright.Stayed on a Tuesday night in August, very minimal use of the nearby road until around 8AM. Overall, a very quiet site. - John P
