East Weaver Campground Reviews
Closed - too many drug deals going down and homeless folks setting up camp so the forest service shut it down. It's located adjacent to a neighborhood and no one wants that in their backyard. Nice spot though, on a creek close to town. Good place to park for a hike on the basin trails.
Feb 10, 2021 · Charlotte SwabWhen I first moved up here it was nice having a campground so close to town. I'm not sure what happened but now it's only a "group camping campground" , by reservation only. Basically it's empty all the time. Such a waste of a beautiful spot.

Jan 17, 2021 · Myranda WolfeClean, open, safe feeling, restrooms were tidy. Felt welcoming and FYI there appears to be a public pool about a mile away from the campground that I would definitely check out if I had more time.
May 15, 2021 · MJWe had our family reunion there. It was great we rented the whole campground. Which is wonderful, because we can get a bit loud sometimes. We'll definitely be reserving it for next year.
