Dogwood Campground Reviews
Really nice campground! Spacious sites, with trees and full hookups! Check out the descriptions before you book, not all sites were so great. Easy trail access.
Oct 12, 2021 · Biology NerdWe camped in the Dogwood campground. No view of the lake, but a short trail to get there. Our site was very long and pull-through. Asphalt pad just a little wider than the motorhome. . Shady and level. Water and electric hookups. I know there is a dump station, but I didn't see it, so it may be in another loop. The picnic table at our site was badly termite eaten and should have been replaced long ago, but tables at other sites were okay. There was a lot of trash and old ashes in the fire ring. Toilet Rooms and Shower rooms looked clean.
Sep 20, 2024 · JoAnne OwensWe stayed here for our honeymoon on the last week of July. Our site, DW95B, was very secluded from the rest of the campsites, infact of the 5 days we only had two neighbors, both were single night'ers. Site was also in the shade practically the whole time.
Aug 26, 2022 · Sarah HaleyStayed in the Dogwood section driving a 39’ classA for a single overnight on our way home. Narrow roadways in the campground but passable and well maintained. Our site, 84, was under the pine trees so a nice shaded spot with lots of space between neighbors. One downside, lots of ticks! Be careful. Overall, from what we were able to see during our short time, a nice park.
Jun 01, 2020 · D KuhlmanDogwood Campground is a fun, exciting, and quiet place to camp. There are three short trails to walk with one taking you to the mouth of the Deep Fork. Lake Eufaula State Park is near as well as Fountain Marina which boasts a floating restaurant with great food. Fishing and water sports are great. Fountainhead golf course is near and much improved.
