★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Quick to get to with multiple sites to choose from in 2 spots across the road from each other. Some good tree cover from the Bigtooth Maples in many spots. Mostly used by motorcyclists and ATV riders, so be prepared for the noise of those day and night. Nice that it’s free. Hopefully people will keep it clean and not ruin it for everyone else. No amenities. Dog friendly.
October 17 · Kristyn HansenHad a nice weekend stay from 9/6-9/8. ORV traffic was light and the sites weren't crowded. Level spots for tent camping might be sparse in some areas in the trees, but there are some nice areas under the canopy. Be sure to bring a hammock, as there are some nice areas to enjoy the breeze in the trees. Watch for broken glass in some areas. We did drive through a lower area that was COMPLETELY trashed with garbage strewn everywhere. Don't be that person, be a steward. Overall a nice visit.
September 11 · Güero BorrachóLove the place and its wilderness look!!! We played with the Jeep and is also perfect for snowmobiles and atvs. Camping areas for the day or the week!! Wild turkeys, mountain roads and more exciting places all around.
