★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Nice cheap campground with no hookups. Sites are spaced nicely and was only a few people when we stayed. Fishing was good also and even took the atv off in campground to explore area.
March 17 · Gunflint ExplorerPlenty of pad sites. Some are A LOT better than others. Some are also A LOT flatter than others so choose wisely. You can be up in the pines or out overlooking Snow Lake. Still a 5 star place though. The toilets were clean and the water is potable if you need to top off. Snow Lake was down a fair bit when we went. Roads to and fro are 100% 4x4. Nothing tricky just definitely not for the family minivan.
June 11 · Jeremy NewtonGreat campground! Google took us a weird way to get to there, a back road definitely requiring 4x4 but it was worth it! The campground was well maintained, lots of space and good grills with fire pits!! The ranger that maintains the grounds is very friendly and helpful. Around often, so if you need any help, he is there.
June 07 · Alice FoxAlways love camping here. The water is good, and the toilets are clean. Trash service is a big plus. Heard the wolves one morning which was cool. Hiked to the top of the Gilita Ridge which was also cool.
October 09 · Brian Wiedmeyery partner and I have been here twice. Both times most spots were empty. The weather both times was great, scenes all beautiful. We didn't find any great hikes but plan to investigate prior to our return.
