Devils Elbow Campground

Wallace, ID 83873, USA

4.0
Devil's Elbow campground was beautiful. We absolutely loved it. Our site was clean and maintained. The fire ring was clean and large, the picnic table was gigantic and there was a short trail down the water. The stream running through was gorgeous and serene. The whole campground was well kept and all of our neighbors were friendly. The outhouses were surprisingly enough- extremely clean and actually smelled nice. There is a water fountain to pump well-water, and it tasted awesome.Neither my husband nor I had cell service which was a bummer in case there was any emergency at home, so we had to drive at least 40mins to get service. My husband has TMobile and I have XFinity which runs off all towers. We didnt like the idea of leaving camp unattended to get cell svc, but noone messed with our site while away. The hosts stay at their sister site which is where we purchased firewood from, they were so nice and helpful. Bundles of firewood were $8 each but they were huge bundles of nice dry wood.Unfortunately, we had to leave early because there was a terrible storm that came through and apparently we weren't prepared enough. But we are looking forward to returning. Absolutely beautiful place. - Chenoa Villegas
