Deep Creek Campground is a place for adventurers who aren’t afraid of a little ruggedness. It's a spot that rewards those who are prepared and willing to embrace the simplicity of nature. The breathtaking beauty of the canyon provides a stunning backdrop for all activities, from setting up camp to simply sitting back and enjoying the view.

Deep Creek Campground is located in the Ashley National Forest on FR 132, Vernal, UT 84078, USA. This address places it in a scenic and secluded part of northeastern Utah, offering a true escape. The road leading to the campground is a key factor in its accessibility. It is important to note that the road narrows to a single lane as it descends into the canyon, making it unsuitable for large travel trailers. This detail is crucial for visitors to be aware of when planning their trip. However, for tent campers and those with smaller RVs, the road is manageable and leads to a stunning destination.
The remote location means there is absolutely no cell phone service, which, for many, is a major benefit. This complete disconnection allows you to fully engage with your surroundings and the people you are with, without the constant interruption of texts, calls, and notifications. The on-site parking is a convenience for campers, ensuring that once you navigate the road, you have a safe and accessible place to leave your vehicle.
The beautiful drive into the canyon sets the stage for the camping experience. It gives you a sense of being on a genuine adventure, leaving the developed world behind. The remoteness of the location is what preserves its pristine condition and quiet atmosphere. While the lack of a trash dumpster means visitors must pack out what they pack in, this contributes to the campground’s overall cleanliness and commitment to environmental preservation.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Small cg at bottom of a canyon. No potable water, no trash dumpsters. Recent improvements seem to include a new bridge over the creek and several new vault toilets. However, this CG has NO CELL signal whatsoever. Note the road in narrows down to a single lane as it drops into the narrow canyon, I would not pull a TT into this CG!

October 19 · Jeffrey ParquetteAmazing place. Absolutely love it. Gorgeous creek, lots of shade. quite new facilities. 12 USD per night. Animals around. Just be ready for low temperatures at night as this place is at the bottom of a canyon.
