★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We went camping recently on Juneteenth weekend and it was full as my party arrived on a Friday. The rate for this holiday weekend is $40/person from Friday sunrise to Sunday Sunset. You can come in and out. My dog was not charged $10/day. I arrived 12 noon and the place was all filled up. I prayed and ask God for favor - that I may find a place for our big group. God is good and answered my request. I saw a couple and asked them about the area cause it was by the end lots of parking. They had the armada. They were nice enough to say that they were leaving that afternoon. So I was able to save a good area for our group and it was close to the bathrooms. The reason I gave a 4star is because I am not a HEAT beach person and it was 110degrees! Me and my dog waited in the car for 4 hours for the rest of the group to arrive. And it was NO FUN for us. But as my friends started to arrive, we enjoyed the river where it was cool. We rented a jet ski and they are not cheap for 1/2 day we paid $465!!! We are all from Las Vegas so it's easy access about 1.5 hours drive.
June 25 · Jean TolentinoI really enjoyed the time here. Brought the family out to enjoy the day and enjoy some swimming. However, the only down fall was that we were charged $30.00 for a day use of the river. We didn't camp we only went for the day and for a few hours and was charged $30. Other than the over charged the place was great.
June 30 · alison clarosPretty good camp grand. Also in a good location just on the edge of town so the traffic is not bad. Seems we'll kept and clean. Showers, laundry, bathrooms were all clean. Great little dog park/walking area. Most of the staff - the folks at the front who check you in- are nice. You will be wall to wall with other people so know you have very little space. Overall good. I would stay here again but maybe not a week.
March 03 · Heather Gently In The WindHIDDEN FEES. DO NOT COME! Once you get here they surprise you with a $50 PER PERSON FEE. This fee is to be able to TOUCH THE WATER. It’s absolutely insane. We came as in our RV to camp for the weekend with total 6people. Well that quickly escalated to $300 on to of the RV camping reservation we had already paid. This Is not a RESORT with amenities. It is not organized and is deceiving practices. There was a line of people upset at the front desk for this situation. All they say is if we cancel we’ll still charge you. RIDICULOUS. NEVER AGAIN! Stay in the hotel/resorts across, it’ll be cheaper.
May 23 · mac gutierrezGreat place , just checked out. Birthday trip with a great spot that overlooked the river. Quiet and friendly. Prices were cheaper than expected.Going again this summer. Highly recommend.
