D N Campground Reviews
The outside water play area is amazing and great for all. Towards 1:30 pm, adults stopped watching their kids, and kids were jumping from the top, doing flips, not looking for kids below. The younger bar tender out by the water shed can only help 1 person at a time, and when she gets overwhelmed, she can get rude. I understand there is a lot going on, but a smile can go a long way! I love that a life jacket is mandatory.
Jul 07, 2025 · Sasha BryantWent to the DO Nothing bar for one. Nice cozy establishment. Friendly locals made us feel at home.
May 03, 2025 · Casey PetersonWe love this hidden gem! It’s just far enough from home to feel like a get away but close enough if an emergency comes up we can drive back for an hour or two. We usually go on weekends, but recently went on a couple week nights and we basically had the place to ourselves. My son was catching frogs by the Apple River, and the deer came out for a visit, and we had a great time relaxing during the day while my other half commuted to work and back from the camp site. There’s RV/electric and tent sites, as well as a bar on property (where the “office” is) for drinks/merch/etc. Playground for the kids and volleyball nets.

Jun 16, 2025 · Arlene SextonThis is our weekend home away from home! We spend just about every weekend here all summer. Great people, great atmosphere, great friends. The bar has a nice happy hour and the kids love the popcorn. This summer they have added a food truck with s simple menu on the weekends. Great for those times that the weather doesn't jive with your campfire dinner plans. They also gave nice activities scheduled that you can do like painting cute signs for your home....or campsite. Our kids love getting out on the kayaks on the river and throwing rocks off the dock.
