Crystal Grove Diamond Mine & Campground Reviews
Wonderful place! Staff are very friendly and helpful! We decided to take my daughter (11) mining since she loves collecting crystals and we enjoy it ourselves , The grove dose not disappoint, we have been twice now and enjoyed our day , it’s really cool to see your kids head pop out of a dirt hole giddy at her finds.I will say though I wouldn’t advise this for littles, expect them to get bored fast if they can’t chill in one place and dig in dirt for a good amount of time, however you can walk nature trails, ride bikes and camp (very clean grounds) and close to other outdoor activities in the area.
Apr 28, 2025 · erzabet101This review is long overdue, since we were at the Crystal Grove Diamond mine back in May. In fact we loved it so much that we ended up re booking and going for their Pig Roast a few weeks after our first visit. Great place for some family fun. We actually took our van and camped there as well. There are several small cabins available to rent as well. Can’t wait to go back next year. We learned so much from so of the locals, the people mining were wicked friendly and extremely helpful. Staff is great and the store has a lot to offer. Restrooms and shower were clean all of the time.
Sep 22, 2024 · Karen SaundersI love everything about this place. The camp grounds are groomed and clean. It has a nice little trail that brings you to a serene bend in the stream. There is easy access to the actual mining area as well. I pack heavily and learned to bring a wagon.
May 29, 2025 · A HehnWe had a great time ! Stayed 3 nights at spot 4 nice size spots. Mining was fun too found a few.. a lot of blood sweat and tears went into those few we found but, it was fun . Not a fan of the pay to use the shower , I don’t like being nickel and dimed . Just add it on to the cost of my $55 spot. NO CELL SERVICE… we have Verizon and had 0% cell service … having WiFi at the camp store was some what of a plus… bathrooms are nice overall great campgrounds and mine!
Jul 17, 2024 · Pamela TThis is my family's favorite campground to visit, mining or not. The grounds are so beautiful and relaxing. I have found so many unique pieces here, I am not a hammer and chisel digger and have always found something to take home without too much effort. It's addicting! All the employees are always so kind to us. Highly recommend to anyone interested in trying but especially great as a spot for kids. Truly a magical place
