★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Perfect campground!!!!! The area is close enough to get forgotten essentials on the trip but isolated enough that you feel like your on your own island in the woods.Campground was excellently maintained, the camp host helped with EVERYTHING!!!! If you need it he'll make a way to figure it out for you! The bath house looks newly refinished and as a person who only uses shower in the rig, my entire family used bath house and loved the cleaning that happened routinely there! Very clean bath house. They had kids games and activities for our little ones and the pond has plenty of fish. The community is great also, all the other campers were very polite and helpful, even had us over for a dance party!
May 02 · Dr.Russell RobinsonA HIDDEN GEM. We’ve been staying at campgrounds all over USA for over 20 years so I have a lot to compare to this campground. WE LOVED IT!!!! Cross creek is family owned and charming. The sites are spacious and tree lined. It is not on the main road, which is great because it is quiet and peaceful. It is quite a large property. My kids roamed throughout the property on bikes, explored the creek, crossed a walking bridge Over the lake to Duck Island, played minigolf, fished, walked small trails, roasted marshmallows, and generally had the best time. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. You can tell that they love their place and take pride in it. If you are staying in this area, don’t look any further. We would definitely return!
May 09 · Dianne JaureguiLovely little family owned and family friendly campground. Appreciated the enforced quiet hours. Could not believe the hospitality felt when checking in and getting settled into our site. Peaceful and quiet. Parents, kids and dogs alike enjoyed the weekend.
June 09 · Megan RomerNice campground especially if down by the pond.. Would of gave 5 stars but about 2 or 3 miles of Terrible road.. not because of the campground.. it was the county road.. gravel was ROUGH and a couple of steep hills..
July 16 · Ron LemensUnwind at this peaceful campground! The owners are incredibly gracious as well as the friendly camp hosts. There is a very nice swimming pool, small lake for fishing with paddle boats, kayaks, and fishing off the dock or shore, clean RV spots, golf, basketball court, clean shower/laundry, and camp office/store. Just a short drive to Lake of Ozarks to take advantage of restaurants, state parks for walking trails, tours of caves, and shopping. Dog friendly campground, perfect for families or a couples getaway! We will definitely be returning to visit with Shelly and Steve, the owners, who live on-site and take pride in providing a safe and welcoming space to relax!
