Crescent City / Redwoods KOA Holiday

4.0
The girl who was attending the two days we were there was a bit snotty. We went to the office to inquire about something at 4:30 and it was closed for the evening, although the website said they close at 6:00. Next day we went at 11:45 and handmade sign said “out to lunch. Be back at 1:00”. I guess she makes her own hours. My husband went to do a SINGLE load of laundry and housekeeping was using the ONE working washer and ONE working dryer, although they have 5 of each. The campground is lovely, with the redwood trees and sites tucked away, but sites are extremely small and we could barely sqeeeze into our site. We had to back up and I’m glad my husband was able to do so. Our site was long (very nice), wooded around it (awesome), but extremely narrow. Beautiful campground~I’m sure they don’t have to be concerned with service or facilities because of the actual beauty of the campground, which is too bad. We ended up going down the road for our last two nights of four to Rambling Redwoods Campground, which was an absolutely delightful experience . - Mia Pierson Ott
