Crazy Horse Campground Reviews
Our family camped here for the first time this week and it exceeded our expectations. Clean, safe grounds, more than enough activities for the kids, and friendly staff. The swimming pond and tubing the river were the biggest hits for us. We will definitely be back and highly recommend to others!
Jun 29, 2025 · Jess MillerWe recently stayed at Crazy Horse Campground in Brodhead and had a rather mixed experience. On the positive side, the bathrooms were notably clean, which is always a huge plus at a campground. We also really appreciated the wide array of activities for kids, which kept our little ones entertained throughout our visit. Special shout-outs to the staff in the barn and Linda, who were consistently wonderful, friendly, and helpful. Our recent visit left us quite disappointed, despite some promising aspects. There was a strong, rancid stench outside the bathrooms near the barn, which was quite off-putting.More concerning, though, was the behavior of the security staff. They were consistently rude and seemed intent on nitpicking every single thing we did, making us feel unwelcome and watched rather than secure. Their constant nitpicking and confrontational approach to seemingly minor issues created a very unwelcoming and tense atmosphere throughout our stay. Their behavior actively detracted from our ability to relax and enjoy our time. While some aspects were great, the security issues unfortunately overshadowed the positives for us.
Jun 27, 2025 · Kelly RocheOur family rented two cabins, we had a great time. Kids loved it! We rented a golf cart had a lot of fun with giving the kids rides. Pool was great. Kids loved feeding the animals and jumping on the giant pillow. Half of our group went rafting. Lots of memories made! Staff was great. We will be back.
Jun 12, 2025 · Katie RavizzaIt would be hard not to enjoy Crazy Horse Campground in Brodhead. The staff is very helpful. The grounds staff is extremely friendly, fun, and down-to-earth. The property is well maintained. Sites are roomy. Lots of amenities for kiddos. They take 11pm curfew seriously, which we appreciated. Plus lots of flea markets, farmer's markets in surrounding towns. Beautiful, rolling hills in this part of Wisconsin. We will return - thank you very much!
Jun 09, 2025 · Jenni ZielkeWhat a wonderful place to make memories! The grandkids had endless hours of fun at the pool. We meant to get to the beach but there was too much fun to be had between the biking, bounce pad, farm animals and pickleball court. We enjoyed the site as it was shaded and level. The park was quiet. The Snack Barn was clean and well stocked. The attendant, Autumn, was very helpful and all smiles.Trash was picked up at our site and bathrooms were clean.Would highly recommend and we look forward to visiting again!
