Copper Creek Campground Reviews
Great quiet place. Beautiful trail by the river!
May 31, 2025 · Becca AThe campground is beautiful and well maintained but the camp hosts are the rudest we’ve ever encountered (Mike & Dale Rhoads). They threatened to kick us out. All we wanted to do was have a place to camp and enjoy company of friends. They threatened other campers as well. We are middle aged and were not causing any problems and we always leave a clean campsite. These camp hosts need to be replaced with hosts who are not on a power trip.
Aug 07, 2023 · Bobbi *This is a wonderful campground. It has been one of our favorites for years. We've camped here many times in our tent and loved it. This year we brought our RV and it was just as wonderful. I don't know where that person who camped here said the campground was full of RVs and ATVs and no privacy 10 months ago was, but it wasn't here. 10 months ago would be last September....I doubt the campground was full then, as it would have been off season. Usually in off season, Forest Service campgrounds out here are empty and completely free to use. Also, the campsites are huge. Most are very private. So, that person has probably never been to this particular campground. In any event, we love staying here. If you do come, don't forget to drive the 1.5 miles down the road and visit Copper Creek Falls.
Jul 27, 2021 · Cheri WallerWe had so much fun camping together as a family group. We took up 3 spaces all together. It's in a beautiful area with lots of lakes, a beautiful river, waterfall, and hiking to see and do! Spruce Lake has fish literally leaping out of it right in front of you!Only thing I would say is I would camp away from the camp host - more private. :)
Aug 30, 2021 · Bethany SchefferWe didn't stay here - just checked it out and moved on. Looked like a nice campground but the day we were there, the campground was full of RVs and ATVs. Seemed like the campsites were close together and there was little privacy between them. We are tent campers and like dense forest with few people - just us and nature. So this place was not a good fit for us. But, if you have an RV or don't mind being surrounded by them, it might work for you.
