Coloma / St. Joseph KOA Holiday Reviews
Owners are charming and very friendly. Overall this place was awesome. Bathrooms spotless, tons of things for the kids to use. Nice patios with furniture if you get the upgraded site. They even have fenced in areas around the patio for your furry friends. The General store was well stocked, souvenirs, food etc. they also offer Pizza, ice cream, sandwiches, coffee, breakfast food, and the best part is they will deliver it to your site hot and ready to eat. The Pizza was delicious and made exactly like we wanted it, thin crust and crispy crust! I would recommend this campground to anyone, especially if you have kids. Lots to keep the kids happy! You won’t be disappointed!
Jun 27, 2025 · Kelly LinnNice paved roads, dirt grass sites and pads with plenty of shade trees . Clean pool and bathrooms. Yummy ice cream!Close enough to the beach. Really liked the clear lake water. There is a kayak launch outside the park but we didn't go.Lady with a fruit and vegetable stand outside the park is really sweet and convenient.
Jul 06, 2025 · Scott LuallenThis is probably the nicest KOA I have ever stayed at. My wife and I took my kid and dog. We had a cabin that was fenced in that made things great. The staff from the moment we showed up until we left we extremely accommodating. The bathrooms were clean no matter the day or night. We even ordered a pizza which I was skeptical about and even that tasted great. I most definitely recommend this campground. We will definitely be coming back for a visit.
May 19, 2025 · Anthony SpillmanWe chose this for a family vacation/wedding celebration, as we had a large number of people and children. Our destination was St. Joseph and this campground looked like the nicest around. Our group had 3 sites booked. On arrival we noticed immediately that the sites were more cramped than they had appeared online (obviously can’t trust pictures) we opted to pay premium for this place as it looked amazing online. At check in, the gentleman checking myself in had warned me about being careful backing into my site because the one across from me had a lot going on. When backing in I had plenty of room and later realized that warning was only because that was that man’s campsite. After setting up and sitting down to talk we were rudely interrupted by another employee reminding us that quiet time had just began but in a terrible demeanor, crushed our excitement immediately. Our whole group wasn’t even together at that point yet. We then in the course of the weekend were approached 4 other times by the same rude employee that harped on every little thing like we were being tattled on every time we did something they didn’t like. My wife was telling me that it seemed we were being watched and I didn’t believe it until we decided to cut our trip a day early due to our vibe being ruined by not being left alone, they didn’t in fact have two campers across the street that both couples were employees of the campground. We were in fact watched the entire time and my family couldn’t sneeze without this man saying something. When we went to the office and discussed this with the manager, he listened to our concerns with little to say other than mostly just trying to defend his employee, and then told us there were no documented interactions with our site. No kidding, because we weren’t doing anything that needed that level of attention. Overall the campground was nice and had things for the kids but for the price we paid for our celebration, it would have been a lot nicer to be left alone. Unfortunately, we will not return to another KOA.
Jun 17, 2025 · Wyatt MeisnerIf you need a beautiful and family oriented campground in south western Michigan, do not pass up the KOA Coloma/St. Joseph! The staff is incredible, the bathrooms are immaculate, and so much for the kids to do. Any person that worked there, especially the office staff- had perpetual smiles on their faces and only wanted to make our stay happier. We will definitely be coming back and hopefully for more than a couple of days!
