However, it is crucial to address all available public information. One review directly stated a concerning experience: "We were assured that they had space for 4 trucks, but when we arrived and they were able to see 4 trucks of African Americans their perspective changed. Their property and their decision to rent space to whomever. But their web page should read. 'People of color not welcome'." This review stands in stark contrast to the positive one and presents a serious allegation regarding discriminatory practices.
When considering Coastal Carolina Campground, North Carolina locals should be aware of all perspectives. While some have experienced exceptional kindness and wish to return, this single, very serious negative review suggests a potential issue that prospective visitors, particularly people of color, would want to consider and perhaps investigate further before making a reservation. Transparency and fairness are paramount in any business, and this particular piece of feedback raises significant questions that cannot be overlooked.
Therefore, while the location in Beaufort is undeniably appealing and some guests have praised the owners' hospitality, the presence of such a concerning review means that suitability for all locals should be approached with caution and personal discretion. It underscores the importance of thorough research and perhaps direct communication to ensure that the campground's environment aligns with your expectations of a welcoming and equitable experience.

An hour drive for nothing either lack of communication or yall just don’t like brown people and that’s ok just post it so we don’t waste our time.
