Clayton Geneva Memorial Campground is located at 1901 River Rd, Williamsburg, KY 40769, USA. This prime location places it right alongside the beautiful Cumberland River, offering direct riverfront access and views. Within a few minutes' drive, campers can find fast food options, various shopping centers like Walmart and Dollar Tree, coffee shops, and even a produce stand down the road, ensuring that essential supplies are within reach. Furthermore, the Kentucky Splash Water Park is also just a few minutes away, offering an additional recreational option. The campground also boasts easy access to nearby state parks and is not far from the Tennessee border, providing ample opportunities for exploring the broader region.
- Diverse Campsite Options: Clayton Geneva Memorial Campground caters to various camping preferences. The upper level offers sites with hookups suitable for 5 campers/RVs (with electric 30/50 amp; 110v), though these sites generally have less shade. Clayton Geneva Memorial Campground Reviews
This site looks great for small groups in only favorable weather, but we rented the whole side of the river for a large group and only 2 of the 6 sites were usable. I would suggest putting in some tent platforms if rain within 7 days turns the entire campground into a mud pit. We ended up finding another place to camp in the area thankfully, but I can’t recommend this campsite to large groups or if there is rain in the radar within 2 weeks of your camping trip. The sites were not kept up and the host was unwilling to work with us on more suitable accommodations for our group size.

Jun 19, 2024 · Egg Queen WanabeeIf you’re in need of a place to camp, give this wonderful lady your money lolI had been to 10 different camp sites because none of them would answer the phone. I found Clayton on accident trying to go to another camp and I’m so glad I did. She was so nice and caring, she answered the phone right away even though it was 6am. And actually got out of bed to come let me stay, which is beyond kind given the time. The place is beautiful and peaceful down on the river. I will definitely be coming back again soon!
Jul 27, 2023 · Hazel GrayCheck HipCamp for full review, but this is a beautiful campground along the Cumberland River. The staff was nice and welcoming.
May 17, 2024 · Orlando S HidalgoAmber and her cabins are amazing! I personally have stayed there several times over the last year. I am not a fan of primitive camping so I don’t. The Birdsong cabin is my favorite. Super clean, super comfy and super relaxing. We stayed in the covered wagon this weekend and that was also a great adventure! Looking forward to going back!
