★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Bridger City Park Campground is not a destination campground but is a lovely place to rest on your travels through the area or to serve as a base camp to explore the town of Bridger or nearby Red Lodge and Beartooth Highway. If you just need a day of rest check out the Bridger city pool, APizzaPie pizza and sandwich shop or Zier Gallery all within walking distance. Or see the Jim Bridger statue at the south end of town at Hwy 310 & Jim Bridger Rd. Also nearby, about 8 miles east of the campground, is Bluewater Fish Hatchery. It is a dirt road but enjoy views of the Beartooth Mountains (in the distance to the west), overlooking the town of Bridger, the local landscape, open range cattle and maybe even learn about how Montana FWP manages rainbow trout in the state. This is a great area for casual bird watching too. Another day trip idea is to explore Bighorn Canyon. Devil's Canyon Overlook is just over an hour drive from here. Horseshoe Bend is on the way and there is a park at the marina for the kids to take a break. Beyond the overlook is Barry's Landing.3 stars is not anything negative. Bridger City Park Campground was exactly what I expected, no more, no less. Full hookups for $35 per night. There are 3 pairs of pedestals side by side for 6 sites plus additional room for tent camping. I would stay again.
May 20 · Don LarsonFor what little area there is to work with it is really nice. All grassed in and mowed, watered and clean! Full hookup’s with 30 amp, water and sewer. It’s a quiet town so little traffic was not bad. Big shade trees and ample trash facility. For $35 not bad at all for 40’ traler. We were just looking for a home base for several side trips to Billings, Red Lodge, etc. Nice area with pool close, gas station and pizza. Been in much worse and paid a lot more. Thank you Town of Bridger!
August 17 · shari abneyVery nice little city campground, 6 sites with grass full hook ups, 35 dollars on your honor. In Bridger Montana .
July 27 · Anthony KarbowskiSmall quiet city campground, tight spots, full hookups. Ok, Verizon coverage 1-2, AT&T is better at 3-4 bars. An hour from the Shoshone national forest. Great drive/views. Not much in town, Gas station, Dollar General, 2 bars, Pizza place. Red Lodge is about 30 minutes and has a lot more restaurants and stores. The price is $35 a night now for full hookups. There is some tent camping. We stayed two nights, there were 2 empty spots the entire time we were there. No shade to speak of. No amenities other than trash disposal.
July 12 · Joanna PahlowThis is a great little RV park, we are in town on some business with Bridger fur. $20 a night with full hook ups, can't beat that. Full signal on our Verizon phones and jet pack. Can walk to just about any place in town. Town has everything you would need on a week long stay.
