Choteau Mountain View RV Campground Reviews
Absolutely stunning place with breathtaking mountain views! Our stay at Choteau Mountain View RV Campground was nothing short of amazing. The facilities were spotless — the cleanest washrooms we’ve ever seen at a campground. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, making it the perfect destination whether you're a seasoned camper or just starting out.Suzi, who runs the campground, is an absolute gem — incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful. We arrived late at night, and there was a well-organized check-in letter at the front office that guided us smoothly to our site. It’s rare to find such warmth and efficiency in one place. When we had an issue with our car, She even connected us to Ben, another wonderful person who went out of his way to assist us during our stay. Such an amazing and kind people ❤️. I would definitely go back to this place again..If you’re planning a trip to Montana, don’t miss the chance to stay here. You’ll leave with beautiful memories and a deep appreciation for how welcoming and well-run a campground can be. Highly, highly recommend!
Jun 24, 2025 · Meera DevanThree things were incredible during our stay:1. The bathrooms and showers were spotless—very clean and well-kept.2. The tent setup was unique and felt surprisingly private, all things considered.3. I saved the best for last: our host was incredibly kind, helpful, and generous.
Jun 30, 2025 · Ace BroWe are a family of four, and we stayed in a tent and had a great, exciting, happy time here at Choteau Mountain View RV Park. We came for the dinosaurs. But we got a lot more from the hospitality of the people at the RV park, and the locals in town. There is much to do with the family, from bird watching, discovering new insects under rocks, to waiting for beautiful, breathtaking scenery and wildlife on hikes. To be in the presence of God's creation was an awe-inspiring moment many times (brought us to a peaceful rest): the air, trees, and animals. We did experience below freezing in the tent one night, but a few people helped us from a local store, and we were nice and toasty again. The weather was beautiful, even when it rained, sprinkling. We just stayed outdoors and enjoyed the trails and parks. The RV park has everything a mama would want and needs to take care of her family. A lounge with board games for the kids while Mama worked on the computer. A microwave and a coffee maker if you need to make a cup. A very nice, well-kept, clean laundromat. Dryers were always cleaned out. There was a sink to do small hand cleaning. Bathrooms were spotless and warm when entering the restrooms. Showers had hot to warm water the week we were there. There was a nice trail in the back of the park and a playground for the kids if they needed to burn some extra energy off from being so excited 😊 We bbq, had a fire pit to relax in the evening, and got cozy. Kids liked playing the miniature golf ⛳️ they had there. On windy days, the privacy walls kept us sheltered from the gusts and blowing over. We are planning on coming back. We recommend this stop, whether it's for one night or more. Sweet place and makes you feel at home. God bless you all, and may God keep you safe and healthy as you travel. 🙏
Jun 23, 2025 · Melina RodeznoHad a great stay at the Choteau Mt View campground. We were originally planning to tent camp, but due to inclement weather, we ended up requesting to stay in one of the cabins. The owners were so accommodating with this change of plans, and had the cabin heater running ahead of time, so that it was nice and toasty when we arrived. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, and the washrooms were great.Altogether, it made for a very comfortable and relaxing stay.
Apr 04, 2025 · Blaze GreeneWe really loved our stay here. The camp hosts are both so friendly, welcoming and kind. We mainly dealt with Suzie and she was lovely! We stayed in an unpowered site which had its own private picnic table and shade, it was flat and the grass was very well-kept. The bathrooms were clean, hot showers, washers and dryers were only $1.50 per cycle, theres a games room, cheap vending machines, it was quiet with minimal road traffic and the campground didn't feel overcrowded at all. We felt very comfortable staying here and would definitely recommend.
