Cheboygan State Park Campground is located at Seffern Rd, Cheboygan, MI 49721, USA. More specifically, the park's official address is 13894 Seffern Road, Cheboygan, MI 49721. This prime location places it on the northern shore of Michigan's Lower Peninsula, directly on Lake Huron, near the historic city of Cheboygan. The park encompasses approximately 1,250 acres, offering nearly four miles of Lake Huron shoreline, including the picturesque Duncan Bay and Lighthouse Point.
Accessibility to Cheboygan State Park is straightforward. Travelers can take I-75 to exit 326, then proceed east straight through the town of Cheboygan to US-23. Continue three miles east of town to the park entrance on the north side of the road. While the park roads inside the campground are gravel, contributing to a "quiet" atmosphere, some campers noted that they can be dusty. Great campground that isn’t too busy. Has lots of trees to keep most campsites hidden from one another. Also has a nice bathroom and showers. Easy to reserve a site.
Oct 03, 2024 · TobyQuiet, low artifical lights, clean facilities, spacious sights, great utilities, clear trails, epic views. A 5 Star experience that I enjoy yearly and look forward to yet again!
Sep 19, 2024 · Joshua KSo we stayed here for a 2 day trip out of our 10 day UP trip. The site fit my 28 foot camper and provide plenty of space for chairs along the water front. 15 feet the kids were on a rock garden and 50 more feet they were in shallow water. Bathrooms were cleaned every morning and they were good/above for a state park. Small basketball, fire wood and ice were reasonably priced. Over all a good place for the price.
Aug 17, 2024 · Lance TedoraThe small wooded lots are too close to each other. No privacy. Hardly any views of the water. The water is a natural marsh. You have to drive 2.5 miles down a dusty road to get to the swimming beach. Only 1 male & 1female shower for 75 lots
Aug 07, 2024 · Kevin BlainThe trails are wonderful! There are 5 different trails to hike, some going through the woods and on the beach. The lots are beautiful as well.
