Central Mobile Village Introduce
For Texans seeking an affordable, convenient, and long-term lodging solution in the Southeast Texas region, Central Mobile Village in Nederland provides a unique community setting. This location is a combined campground and mobile home park, which allows it to cater to a diverse clientele, from traditional vacationers on an RV trip to permanent residents and seasonal workers requiring temporary housing. Its proximity to major industrial hubs, including the expansive refineries in Port Arthur, makes it a strategic and popular choice for those working in the oil and construction sectors.
Central Mobile Village is designed to support the needs of both short-term RV campers and those settling in for longer stays, a common necessity in the thriving Southeast Texas economy. The park offers traditional RV camping with all the necessary hookups, ensuring a functional and comfortable experience. Beyond simply renting a space, the community aims for a tranquil atmosphere under the expansive Texas sky, offering a place to relax and unwind after a busy day.
The park has a history of serving the local community for over 50 years and has been family-owned and operated since 1981, providing a sense of stability and local knowledge that many residents appreciate. While some of the infrastructure may be older, as one customer review indicates, the management is engaged, and the park’s main appeal remains its affordability, location, and a distinct, laid-back Texas neighborhood feel. This blend of permanent residence and temporary RV space rental makes it a versatile solution in the Nederland/Port Arthur area.

The Central Mobile Village is strategically located at 3707 Avenue H, Nederland, TX 77627, USA. Its location in Nederland is key to its popularity, as it sits only about five miles from the major industrial and shipping hub of Port Arthur, Texas. This proximity is a major draw for refinery workers, construction crews, and other seasonal labor. Furthermore, the park is very accessible, being only about a mile from the Jack Brooks Regional Airport and close to the Central Mall and various quality restaurants, ensuring that guests are never far from essential amenities and shopping.
The facility benefits from on-site parking for RVs and trailers, with the added allowance for guests to park an additional personal vehicle on their rented lot. For travelers who do not own an RV, the park offers an exceptional service: RV trailer rental at affordable daily, weekly, and monthly rates. This is a significant advantage for those relocating for work or seeking a temporary housing solution without the initial investment of purchasing an RV.
Driving to the park is straightforward, as Nederland is part of the Golden Triangle region of Southeast Texas. Guests appreciate the ease of access to major highways that connect to surrounding cities like Beaumont, Port Neches, Groves, and even Southwest Louisiana. The area is known for its mild weather, making it a viable location for year-round residency and travel, though guests should always be mindful of the Gulf Coast's seasonal weather patterns.

For Texans, particularly those in the Southeast region, Central Mobile Village is worth choosing for two main reasons: its unbeatable affordability for long-term stays and its strategic convenience for industrial workers and travelers. This isn't a high-end tourist resort; it is a practical, functional, and community-oriented place to live or stay, which is precisely what many in the area need.
The park’s dual function as both a mobile home park and an RV community ensures that it is focused on long-term comfort and stability, a critical factor for seasonal workers. While some reviews mention past maintenance concerns related to utilities like electrical hookups and sewage—which highlights the importance of checking your site upon arrival and communicating promptly with the owner—the overall feedback often stresses the friendliness of the community and the dedication of the hosts to providing a home-like atmosphere. The ability to rent an RV trailer directly from the park also removes a significant barrier to entry for temporary residents. Ultimately, if you are looking for an affordable, full-hookup RV space near the heart of Port Arthur’s industry or simply a quiet, established place to live the RV lifestyle in Southeast Texas, Central Mobile Village offers a practical and budget-friendly solution.

June 19 · Mr.TreeLeeIf I could give this rv park a zero I would. Yes it was fast and easy to get a spot. As soon as we pay and try to hook up the light we find out that it doesnt work. Had to wait for the owner to get out of church to get it fixed. They then proceed to connect us to a different spot. We thought everything was fixed. In the morning the lights stop working. The people in that other space disconnected us, and for good reason. They’re a trailer that pays light separately. They’ve told the owner this before that if someone else connects they’re bill goes up double. He still hasn’t fixed any of the light poles. The sewage is horrible and the place kind of smells. Do not I repeat do not waste your money here. Moving as soon as we can.
January 16 · liz garzaExcellent ownership. In the process of making changes for the better. Recently weeded out the bad seeds. A 2-sided RV/Trailer Park with one side family oriented and pet friendly and the other side quiet adult/working class friendly people whom seem to all share the love of outdoor grilling. C.M.V. is never without the sweet aroma of barbequing. The only negative review I have is NO WIFI, and now NO MORE FREE CABLEi
