Had a tremendous mini vacation at Cedar Pond CG. The lake and private beach are excellent. Location for going on the trails was perfect. (We have a sxs and road Jericho as well as all points north. We went to the Canadian boarder as well)The sites are all very level. The free showers are clean and the water was Hot. I was a little concerned about our site being next to the road, but I was pleased that there is really no night time traffic. It was very quietThe free Father's Day breakfast was certainly a treat. Will definitely stay here again.
Jun 16, 2025 · Erik RiceJust spent a week here and it was awesome! Great little camp ground very quiet and very nice owners! Ron stopped by daily to check in with us and ask if we needed anything great experience will be back for sure
Jun 13, 2025 · Joe mamaThis campground gets a very poor review here. Quick summary is poor location, uneven campsite, poor facilities, Rude management, and overall not a good pic for the Jericho event! The owner/manager Ron is very rude and argumentative! I had two confrontations with him within the two days we were there over the same subject and on both occasions threatened to throw us out of the campground for things that were out of our control. The bathrooms were less than satisfactory as we took two cold showers in the time we were there. If you’re planning on attending the Jericho event, do not stay here. It is a 15 minute ride by car and 45 minutes by trail! The trails are very poorly marked and we got lost on the way back which is why we had the confrontations in the first place. Overall poor location, poor facilities, uneven campsites, and very rude management! You’re welcome, Ron. Maybe you’ll be nicer to your patrons next time.
Aug 05, 2024 · Karl KimmellMy only interaction with Cedar Pond Campground was a simple phone call. So, according to the rules, to which there are ABSOLUTELY no exceptions.. If you are a couple with three adult children and you all want to stay at their campground with your ATVs, 5 people & 5 ATVs, you have to reserve 3 overpriced sites.. Even if you only own 2 RVs. No exceptions, no paying extra for the extra person or extra ATV. I was willing to pay for 2 sites plus the extras, but i'm not going to pay for a full third site and not have anything on it. The man that answered the phone was very stern in informing me that "It's not a rule that's going to change today", which, as a side note, was a very rude thing to say to a potential customer on the phone. So evidently, this campground is so well off that they do not need to make any exceptions or bend any rules in order to accommodate larger families. Evidently they don't need our business Good luck to them. There are plenty of other places we can stay that are friendly and accommodating.
