Cedar Creek Campground Reviews
Beautiful campground, peaceful and relaxing. Small beach area, perfect for kids. Grills and picnic tables available. Really clean restroom facilities. We really enjoyed it. Important note, there is an entry fee, $5 if I remember correctly.
Jun 03, 2025 · Jesse MoeWell maintained Army Corp of Engineers campground. Large sites along water have beautiful views and accommodate big rigs. Inter loops are a mix of paved, gravel, and need gravel sites. We got our 46' fifth-wheel into an inner loop site, but it would be very tight for a large bumper pull or motor home. Big rigs are better off on sites by water. All roads are one-way.
Jun 28, 2025 · Theresa ChurchJust wrapped a short stay at Cedar Creek Campground in Mt. Juliet TN. The grounds are clean and nicely arranged. There are a few sites that back up to the Cumberland River. The grounds ajoin to a public access and recreational area with a playground, volleyball courts, swimming area that has a disabled access ramp, public restrooms. Camp host was friendly and even directed us to enter a gate that better suited our RV and tow vehicle. The sites are long enough in some cases, for larger RVs. Your on a one way in one way out body of land that makes the visit tranquil. We marked this one as a must repeat because of it's proximity to Nashville without being "IN" Nashville.
Oct 08, 2024 · Matthew SamplesWe will not be coming back to this campground. Camp host (man) did not handle issue the right way. People here just don't seems very friendly
May 21, 2025 · Tim DuncanCedar Creek Campground is a pretty amazing place. Lots of deer, trees, quietness, and the lake is a 2 min walk for most campers. Bring your kayaks and paddle boards. One of the best Army Corps of Engineers camping areas I have stayed at.However, bringing a 40ft toy hauler (TH) down the narrow neighborhood roads with low tree branches and power lines was a little nerve-wracking. Pulling into Cedar Creek was tight coming through the gate due to a 90° turn. The roads in the campground are pretty narrow as well. Getting a long TH into the camp spot is a bit of a chore due to trees and other vehicles in the area. Pulling a long 5th wheel through the campground when leaving will take some serious skill. There are some tight turns, concrete curbs in spots, and steep drop-offs into ditches along the narrow road leaving the camp sites. The bathrooms are in need of a serious remodel. The showers are in real bad shape, and it wouldn't hurt to have an air conditioner installed, too. There are plants, literally growing in the men's shower stall.I am giving this place only 4 stars due to the narrow roads in the campground and the terrible bathrooms.
