Cave Junction KOA Journey Reviews
We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of June 2025. We didn't spend a lot of time at the site itself, as we took a day trip to Crescent City and then another day trip to Crater Lake. The site is nice though, not overly big and crowded, mostly level spots of compacted gravel. Laundry facility was nice (bring quarters) and came in handy as this was part of a 2-week long trip for us.The map shows they plan to put a pool in at some point which would be nice for the hot summer months (it was 95 when we were there). The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall one of the nicer KOA's we have visited.
Jul 04, 2025 · Kristin EngleStayed on Labor day weekend. 3 nights Friday night and left Monday morning.4 people in a tent site.Check in time is 2pm so when it was 6pm and we still had not arrived yet, they called us to check in, I was very impressed and explained due to traffic we were running behind. We came from Tacoma, WA. So she left an envelope on the board outside the office with our site info. It's a great KOA, the bathrooms are my favorite and our kids had fun with the play area and games. There is a small dog area.Electric car charging stations if your into that. It's quite and there are no mosquitoes due to it being close to the caves so the bats fly around at night eating them which is great. The owners walked around just after dark to make sure no one wanted any fire wood or needed anything. The light are motion sensored so they are hardly on until u walk or park right under one and it gets brighter which is a cool feature. They have WiFi also. There is a Sinclair gas station not far from it that has a large variety of cooked food. And a coffee stand not much further then that.We will definitely be back.
Sep 02, 2024 · Allofus RaThis was a wonderful stay. We researched and drove to a few of the campgrounds in the area and were not super comfortable... We are SO GLAD we stayed here. The grounds are extremely clean. The bathrooms, laundry and store were in great condition (seriously, some of the best bathrooms of our whole road trip). Shower was hot too. Now to the best part: the hosts, Heidi and Darren. They are the most lovely people. From the minute we pulled up and asked about availability, they made us feel so welcome. We bought quarters, firewood and some laundry detergent (the store has so much and it was affordable!). Heidi even came around at night to ask about turning one of the lights near our camper off so it wasn't shining directly on where we had positioned our truck. Class act! We loved our stay here. Felt so safe and would 10/10 come back.*Oh and if you have dogs- this is a dog friendly stay! Their dog run was on the backside of the park.
Jun 22, 2024 · Grayson KNo complaints about this place! Spent $40 for a tent site a couple weeks ago. Owner mentioned working on privacy/landscape of the area soon plus some new amenities. Has a dog park, laundry and nice showers :)
