Cathedral Caverns State Park Campground Reviews
Nice campground that has a section that is only a few years old. The staff take great care to maintain the appearance and, because cell service is non-existent, provide free Wi-Fi. We stayed in the new W/S/E sites farthest from the bathhouse. The sites near the bath house aren't that great and I would avoid them. The bathhouse was older but very clean. Be sure to schedule the cave tour while there, it's all worth the cost. Either stop or call after making your camping reservations for a 33% tour discount. Overall, it was a great stay and we will definitely be coming back.
Aug 12, 2024 · Steve JacksonI’ve seen Petra and I’ve got to say this play wowed me more than that! I’m not kidding man…. It’s truly a must see and it’s so massive! Also as for the campground it was so awesome. I wish they had a playground for the kids though! Beautiful place where you can wonder off into the woods and truly feel “lost”. We loved it. Bathrooms were nice as well.
Feb 27, 2025 · brian lankfordOur gravel site #19 was roomy, mostly level and the full hookup utilities worked as expected. The camp loop was well kept and quiet and we had a cordial greeting from our camp host on our arrival. The CG has wifi, though the signal was very weak, almost nonexistent, and T-Mobile and Verizon were disappointingly unavailable. A great spot to visit the cavern and unwind for a couple of days.
